How to Win. No Purchase Necessary. Void where prohibited.
You must be 21 years of age or older to enter. Must be a
resident of the United States.
One entry per person. Official entry form is a completed
2005 Homebuilder Research Update Request survey.

Deadline for Entries. All entries must be received by
March 17, 2006, 12:30
pm to be eligible. Sponsor is not responsible
for late, misdirected or illegible entries.

How Winner Will be Chosen. Entry forms from all sources
will be accumulated at a single site. The winners will be
drawn on April 14,
2006 at McGraw-Hill Construction Research and Analytics,
24 Hartwell Avenue,
Lexington, MA.
Not necessary to be present to win. Winners will be notified
by mail. Alternative entry: mail a 3 x 5 postcard entry in
an envelope with your name, complete address, and daytime
telephone to McGraw-Hill Builder Contest, McGraw-Hill Construction
Research and Analytics, 24 Hartwell
Ave., Lexington, MA
02421.

Prizes to be Awarded/Value/No Prize Substitutions. One
(1) Grand Prize: $5,000 cash prize. Five (5) additional $1,000
cash prizes. There will be no prize substitutions.

Odds. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible
entries received. Only the first 500 qualifying entries will
be eligible to win the Grand Prize. All qualifying entries
will be eligible to win the additional cash prizes. Last
year there were 799 qualifying entries.

Eligibility. Open to residents of the U.S.,
21 years of age or older except employees, representatives,
and families of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. Offer void
where prohibited. Subject to all federal, state, and local
laws.

Prize Winner. Prize winner will be required to sign
an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release
from prior to receipt of the prize acknowledging that The
McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. has the right to publicize his/her
name and likeness, the fact that he/she has won a certain
prize and all matters incidental thereto without the payment
of any compensation for a period of one (1) year. Non-compliance
will result in disqualification an forfeit of prize.

Release. The winner will be required to waive any and
all claims against the McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., their
affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives for personal
injury or loss which may occur from participation in the contest
or from the receipt or use of the prize. In the event that
the Grand Prize winner fails to claim his/her prize or to
meet the eligibility requirements of this contest, the unawarded
prize will be awarded to an alternative winner selected at
random from the other entries.

Prize Conditions/Taxes. The winner of the prize is responsible
for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and fees,
plus any other incidentals. McGraw-Hill Construction will
mail the prize to the winner’s chosen address within the Continental
United States. Winner will be required to give The McGraw-Hill
Companies, Inc. his or her social security number, legal name,
age, current address, and phone number for tax record keeping
purposes.

Miscellaneous. All entries become the sole property of
The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. and none will be returned.
By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bounded
by these official rules and the decisions of the judges.

Disputes. Any disputes regarding the contest or these
rules will be resolved by a panel of judges from The McGraw-Hill
Companies, Inc. and their decision shall be final.
