Estimate market potential, measure sales performance and establish future sales plans using our Product Demand Reports. We cover more than 25 building product segments used in new construction and renovation/repair.

Data is available for the entire United States, by state or census region. We can also customize Demand Reports to your exact specifications, including sales territory or distribution area.

Three Product Demand Reports are available:

New Construction Reports provide information on newly built single family and multi-family low rise housing (1-3 stories). Three years of historical data for demand and "per-house" rates are included. Demand reports are built using a detailed survey with over 800 questions to determine usage rates, major products installed, specific types or styles, plus where in the home these products are installed.

Repair and Remodeling Reports look at purchasing behavior and the demand from current homeowners and renters. Four key areas are examined:
Incidence rates or the percent of households buying a specific product
Purchase rates or the average quantity of products purchased
Demand estimates/forecasts, reported by product characteristics across
    house type and geographic location
Background demographics of both homeowners and renters

Summary Reports review demand for select building products. Historical data
from the previous year is combined with the most recent usage rates versus
historical housing starts and current households to estimate current product
demand. A one-year forecast is also provided.

Target key markets in the fast growing replacement sector based on the
aging process for products with known finite life cycles.
  Forecast utility demand
Forecast available space for future investment or building
